The region’s namesake is the winding river that runs through it.  The Wind River gained recent notoriety in the 2017 movie of the same name.  Wind River Country is the often referred to as the southeast gateway to the famous nearby National Parks of Yellowstone and Grand Teton.  It is the Cowboy state’s hidden gem.
